After the tremendous inaugural success in 2015, photo basel - Switzerland’s first art fair solely dedicated to
photography - now starts to accept applications for its second edition in June 2016.
What made photo basel an instant success?
It is the combination of various factors that can be summed up by the following: As some of you know, when it comes to art trading, Basel is the place
to be – there is only one art fair that has a major global impact on the entire art world: Art Basel. Being parallel to that major fair and being in
walking distance to it, gives photo basel the ultimate advantage in order to reach collectors, buyers, dealers, curators and art enthusiasts. With
over 7000 people visiting and a global media coverage of 3.5 milion, photo basel set the bar high on its first show.
